About The Author

Markman has worn many hats during his career: father, teacher, counselor, businessman, truck driver, and New York City cab driver, but writing is his true love. He says, “Writing never paid the bills but was always my life raft during some of life’s storms.” When asked about which book is his favorite, he smiled, “I loved writing the other two, but Choices is about my core; about what is most special to me. My characters are people who stand up for their beliefs; people who refuse to cave in to the cultural revolution that is sweeping the world; people who support true diversity; the diversity of the individual. My characters are heroes.”

He lives in CT with his wife of 24 years where he is hard at work on his next novel, Evolution, the sequel to Choices.
